As a kid, I had a 35mm Minolta SRT 200 and took it everywhere. It even traveled the globe with me while I was in the Army. I still have it, and still love it. I officially started West Georgia Studios three years ago after parents at my cousins high school baseball games asked me to take photos of their players too. Youth sports photography is now my favorite venue.I am pursuing my Certificate of Photography from Columbus State University as well as professional development courses and learning different artistic approaches from my peers. From this I have gained a love of Portrait Photography as well.I am licensed and insured as a professional. I am also a member of the following:· Professional Photographers of America (PPA) - a trade organization for photographers that promotes education and professionalism. · National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) which delivers the surest and most recognized pathway to become a (Kid Safe) participant through a comprehensive criminal background screening program. Check me at http://yspnc.org/check/My Id is Ga #879 · National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) which works with Youth Sports Photography Network Connection (YSPNC), a photo industry network of committed professionals as well as national and international photography associations.Professional Excellence for the client is always my goal, and I work diligently to achieve that everyday. Photography is something I plan on pursuing into my golden years and I strive to make each photograph a quality memory for my client. A photographer doesn't take pictures they MAKE photographs.
